I was born in a musical family where both my parents played the piano. I started playing the piano when I was 4 years old, and it has since then been a huge part of my life. At first I studied the piano with my mother, but later on my father took over the teaching. When I was 6 years old, I started at Lilla Akademien, which is a music school. I have studied there all my life, and I am still studying there at Pre College which is a postsecondary education. Currently I am studying with professor Marianna Shirinyan at the Norwegian Academy of Music.

I have played at several concerts trough out the years, both in connection with the school, and on my own. I have played in concert halls like Grünewalsalen, Confidencen and Västeråsconcerthall in Sweden. Throughout the years I have also received different prizes and scholarships. In 2009 I won the first prize at the RUM competition, and in 2014 I got the third prize at the Steinway piano festival. In 2013 I got the Mai von Rosen scholarship, and just now (in 2016) I got the Bifrostfordenscholarship.

Big events for me have also been playing with the orchestra. First time for me was when I was 15 years old and playedXian Xinghai’s Ode to the yellow river with the school orchestra. After that I have played Tchaikovsky’s piano concerto no 1 mvt 1 and Shostakovich piano concerto no 2 mvt 2 and 3 with an orchestra.

Music has always been very important for me. It’s a way for me to express my feelings, and it will always be there for me. My dream is to continue developing as a musician and to meet inspiring people.
