Mikolaj Ólafur Frach, born in Iceland in 2000. Learning to play the piano at the age of 6 under the supervision of Iwona Frach. Currently, continues his education with prof. Janusz Olejniczak.
He is a laureate of competitions: 2nd prize at the Chopin Competition in Reykjavik (2010), 3rd prize at the 13th International Competition in Görlitz - Zgorzelec (2013), 1st prize at the VI EPTA Piano Competition in Iceland (2015) He appeared as a soloist at the Harpa Icelandic Philharmonic, including the music festival "Nótan." In 2013 he made his first recital. It was continued in 2016, 2017 and 2018. In 2018 he performed both concertos of Fryderyk Chopin, playing with the accompaniment of the string quartet.
