Reetamaria Rajala is a finnish pianist. She has been successful on many competitions and she has performed many times with different orchestras in Finland.
Reetamaria has worked as a pianist in theaters, chamber music projects, with a singers and she has worked as a accompanist in music schools in Finland. She has also done lots of premieres, starting from the year 2008 when she won the 3rd prize in russia, playing premieres at the competition.
Reetamaria finished her bachelor 2017 from Kuopio, Savonia University of Applied Sciences, with excellent grades. Now she is studying with Hans Pålsson in Malmö Academy of Music, doing her master of piano performance, graduating on spring semester 2019. February 2019 Rajala is going to play as a soloist with the orchestra of Malmö Academy of Music, playing Dmitri Shostakovich2nd piano concerto.
Reetamaria Rajala is an active musician. She has done chamber music tours and -festivals in Finland, Sweden and in Denmark. Spring 2019 Rajala is also going to do lots of contemporary music projects with different professional ensembles.
Rajala has been studying with teachers like Vera Fadeeva, Tuulikki Lehtinen, Kirsti Huttunen and Janne Mertanen. She has been in many masterclasses, example with Anu Vehviläinen, Maria Kamchilina-Larionova, Haochen Zhaong and Tellef Juva.
