Valdemar is 13 years old, born in Nyborg Denmark, now resident in Copenhagen. Both his parents are musicians and so are two of his three elder brothers. He has studied the piano since 2009 with Adrienn Jensen and from 2015 with Bella Zapolski.

He has received numerous awards: The honorary talent prize (DKK 45.000) of the Jacob Gade Foundation 2018, 2. prize in the Steinway Festival Competion 2016 and 2018 and 1. prize in Berlingske Music Competition in 2018.

Besides playing the piano he also sings in the world famous Boys choir Copenhagen Royal Chapel Choir and he plays the cello in the Zapolski Strings, a youth string orchestra, that received the special prize in the international Summa Cum Laude Festival for youth ensembles in Vienna 2017. He appeared as boy soprano in the role as 2. genie in Mozarts opera The Magic Flute at The Royal Danish Opera in 2017/2018, doing 11 performances.
