Competition Repertoire​

Viktor Yuandong Mattsson (Mudanjiang, 1992) started playing piano at the age of eleven. He received professional music training from the Central Conservatory of Music (Beijing), the Academy of Music and Drama (Gothenburg), the Conservatory of Amsterdam, CNSMD de Paris and KMH Stockholm.

Viktor was the first prize winner of the 25th Premio Rovere d’Oro ‘Giovani Talenti’ in Italy; the16th Carl Filtsch International Piano Competition in Romania and the XXIe Concours de Piano de Brest in France. He followed masterclasses with distinguished pianists such as Eugen Indjic, Stephen Hough, Konstantin Scherbakov, Leif Ove Andsnes and Kevin Kenner.

Viktor made his debut solo recital at the Gasteig in Munich, and has performed in various music festivals such as the Harbin summer music festival (China), Le chant de la rive, Cycle musical Kersaint-Landunvez (France), the Bergen international festival and the Gothenburg piano festival.
